Was St. Brigid on Inishmurray Island in Co. Sligo?
With the 1st of February fast approaching, I thought I would write a piece on St. Brigid and her possible direct connection to Sligo. She was our native Irish female saint, existing in the 5th Century AD and known for her kindness, determination, independence, and strength.
