Have you ever wanted to ride a horse on a beach before in Ireland? Well this is your chance! Our Heritage on Horseback Experience is unique in Ireland where you are accompanied by your expert guide who focuses on all things ‘heritage’  including geology, flora, local history and environment. Auriel accompanies you on your refreshing ride out to the sea where she explains your surroundings and will take photos of you as well so you can relax, become friends with your horse and breathe in fresh sea air. The area where you ride in is really scenic with fabulous views of Donegal Bay and Benbulben Mountain. What do you need to do next? You need to contact Auriel directly by email and state the number of people you are, your heights, weights and level of experience (for this ride it is better if you can trot  but if you can’t, don’t worry) and ask to be included on this ride on the 24th of June at 3pm.

You need to arrive 30 minutes prior to riding time. You also need your own transport to get to the stables which are not far out from Sligo Town.
