Sunday 23rd February– Sligo Megalithic Trail- Explore ancient burial sites of the Irish dating back to 5,000 years, situated in the gorgeous wild uplands of South Co. Sligo. Carrowkeel is an incredible place. Take yourselves back to a time in this amazing landscape and enjoy hearing about the geology, archaeology and folklore. You will get a chance to enter the tombs if you wish. You will be accompanied by an expert archaeologist guide who will also show you a lesser known site (a portal tomb) in another area by a beautiful lake that is different to all the rest! Complimentary tea/coffee and treats will be served on the day al fresco.

Duration- 4 hrs (there are two walks- we drive between the sites)
