Hike with us this August Bank Holiday weekend up Benbulben Mountain, that famous table topped plateau and challenge yourself a little! This is an awesome hike with incredible views over the Sligo coastline and the Darty Range. Your guide will tell you about the landscape, the local history, lore and mythology of the mountain range and explain the geology and natural flora and fauna that exists here.

*This climb is weather dependent. If unsuitable weather conditions prevent ascent on the day, you will be informed as early as possible (the evening before). You may keep your credit for another walking tour which is on lower ground for the same day  as suggested by your guide or you can keep your credit for another tour on another date within the season until end Oct 2020. There is no refund.

This hike is for those who are reasonably fit. It takes c. 4 hrs. If you are concerned about fitness or ability or any injury or illness, please ring us before you book, thanks!

The terrain is boggy and rocky in places, there is a steep incline and remainder is undulating/holey/boggy

Waterproofs and hiking boots an absolute must. If you want to use hiking poles, bring them as it makes the climb easier. 

Bring a sandwich, bottle of water, snacks and sun screen.

Meeting Point is at Drumcliffe Church and Graveyard upper carpark nearest to the Cafe no later than 11am.
