Join me on the June Bank Holiday weekend on a guided archaeology walk to the incredible Carrowkeel Tombs in County Sligo-This mountain walk suits those who are curious about Sligo’s past and its prehistoric sites and those who want to do a nice walk in a mountainous region which is very scenic. A little height is required and there is some uneven ground underfoot. Distance is c 2/3 kms return to start point and will take c. 2 hours with stops and explanations from your expert guide. This little hike is really rewarding!
