Join us on Saturday the 14th August to hike Benbulben Mountain in Co. Sligo. This hike is for those who are reasonably fit and who would like to see the incredible Sligo and Donegal coastline from above at almost 530 metres above sea level. Auriel, your guide, will explain the whole landscape to you as you hike- you will hear about the geology, the glacial history, the nature around you in the bogland and heath and you will be able to stop for breaks to soak up the views and have a snack and explore a cave and the cliff edge (not going too close)!

The hike takes about 4 hrs. You can purchase your tickets here and the Auriel will email you with further info. Note- this mountain is weather dependent. If the conditions are unfavourable, Auriel will try to get you as high as possible. If conditions are not safe, then you can keep your credit for another hike within the season and up to Oct 2021.
