Join in on this fun weekend of adventure in Sligo, on Saturday morning, join your Archaeologist guide up this mountain and visit the ancient megalithic tomb known as  ‘Queen Maeve’s Grave’. You will hear all about the archaeology, geology, local history and ecology of this mountain.

At the top, you will see fabulous views over the bays of Sligo and out onto the Atlantic Ocean. Expect to hike to just over 300 metres. Rocky terrain.

We start the hike at 10 am at the carpark on EAST side of Knocknarea Mountain.  It is only 20.00 for adults. You need your own transport.
