Seatrails offers guided walking, hiking and horse-riding tours in Co. Sligo, in the northwest of Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way which focus on archaeology, geology, local history and the natural environment. Auriel Robinson, manager and head guide is an expert archaeologist who will take you on a voyage of discovery, one you will never forget in a photographer’s paradise!  You can choose a guided coastal walk or hike along Sligo’s Wild Atlantic Way or a guided hike up once of its iconic mountains giving you spectacular views and lots of fresh air.

Auriel fills you in on your surroundings and the local heritage sites, some of which really are incredible hidden gems. She’ll introduce you to Irish folklore, geology and local flora on her tours. Why not try one of her special Mythology Trails?  If you are tracing your roots or have a genealogy query, she can help you with that too. Auriel will also introduce you to the arts, cultural and food scene around the County and in vibrant Sligo Town.

Seatrails guided tours and experiences are ideal for all ages, independent travellers, small or large groups, students and families looking for a cultural experience or unique adventure. You can also custom design your holiday in Sligo with Auriel to suit your requirements.

You can also go horse riding with Auriel where she will accompany you on horseback. This is her unique ‘Heritage on Horseback’ experience on one of the most scenic parts of the Wild Atlantic Way coastline.

As the treasurer of Adventure Sligo and a member of Ireland’s Adventure Association for Adventure Tourism, Auriel can help advise you on other things to do in Sligo which combine nicely with her own tours such as having a seaweed bath, a surf lesson or a paddle boarding adventure! So, why wait, drop her a line!

Historical hike best ever!

I hiked with Seatrails to an ancient 5,000 yr old tomb above the valley. The views and the spirituality reside there. Thanks Auriel for sharing a fab walk the best ever. Be artful, be well, Bridget.
