Spanish Armada Trail: We recommend our Spanish Armada Trail as it really is very special. The landscape is stunning, the coastline is rugged and alive with the sound of crashing waves and wild sea birds, the dunes are pretty in the summer time dotted with wildflowers and orchids and the story of the Spanish Armada ships and sailors is truly fascinating. You will be accompanied and guided by Auriel or another member of the Seatrails team. This trail takes about two hours in full, however can be shortened if you wish. After your walk, you will be offered complimentary tea/coffee and treats 'al frecso'.  You will be walking by the coastline so bring appropriate footwear and clothing.
Price: Two/couple=€50.00, €20.00pp thereafter and €10.00 for children (not under 4yrs please)

Heritage on Horseback Trail: We recommend this for anyone who loves horses or riding by the sea or who has never even tried it before. It is a truly refreshing and exiciting way to explore the Sligo coastline and you get to visit a really authentic and welcoming animal farm and stable yard! We can arrange the right horse for you so don't worry if you don't have experience. We take it easy and enjoy the wonderful scenery and sea air.

If you do have experience,  why not try a 1.5 hour guided ride where we will accompany you and explain about the local history, flora and geography of your surroundings. The scenery is amazing. We trek down a country lane, onto a pretty dune landscape and then onto a fabulous golden beach where you can trot or canter in the waves along the Atlantic shore to your hearts content.  We offer complimentary refreshments afterwards.

1.5 hour guided ride: €170.00 for two people and €85.00 pp thereafter

Carowkeel Tombs Trail: This is a mountainous trail and is hugely inspiring. We trek on foot through a karst limestone region in south Co. Sligo where ancient megalithic tombs were built and can be found on ridge tops overlooking the Sligo landscape. The tombs date to c 3,300 BCE and are older than the Egyptian pyramids. If you wish to include the local caves of Kesh on your day out, we can continue there after. These caves were inhabited during and after the ice age and are very interesting.
